U.S. Trucking Rates

  • The Internet Truckstop’s Average Equipment rate was $3.65 per mile as of 7/03/2026.
  • Trucking rates increased for all but one geographical regions over the past week. The rate for the West Coast region had the largest increase, at $0.09 per mile. The Southeast region had the only decrease, falling $0.01 per mile.

Global Container Rates

  • The composite rate per 40-foot container was $4,530 on 7/2/2026, which is up $364 from 6/25/2026.
  • Global container rates rose for nearly all regions from 6/25/2026 to 7/2/2026. The largest increase was from Shanghai to New York, which increased $753 to $7,902. Rotterdam to Shanghai had the only decrease, falling $1 to 647.
