Investor Flows – Semiconductor ETFs Attract Inflows

  • Of the 16 ETF categories charted below, 12 categories had net inflows for the week that ended on 7/31/2026.
  • The three ETF categories with the largest inflows for the week that ended on 7/31/2026 were Consumer Cyclical Sectors ETFs at $11.81 billionGlobal ETFs at $7.80 billion, and Aggregate Bond ETFs at $1.78 billion. 
  • The ETF category with the largest outflow for the week that ended on 7/31/2026 was U.S. Large-cap ETFs at $2.28 billion in outflows.

  • Below, we highlight the three ETF categories with the largest inflows and the ETFs within those categories for the week of 7/27/2026 to 7/31/2026.

  • Long Term (>10 yr) bond ETFs had inflows of $3.78 billion over the last month, and Short Term (1-3 yr) bond ETFs had inflows of $1.75 billion.

 

  • Turning to inflation-friendly ETFs, aggregate flows (black line in chart below) were positive for the week ended 7/31/2026, with $0.24 billion of inflows. Industrials ETFs had the largest inflows for the week at $0.50 billion.

  • Corporate bond ETF flows were positive for the week ended 7/31/2026, with High-Yield ETFs gaining $1.33 billion and Investment-Grade ETFs gaining $0.45 billion. 

  • The amount invested in Money-Market Mutual Funds (MMMFs) decreased to $7.854 trillion in total assets on 7/29/2026.
